]]> It has been close to a year since Google released an update to Google PageRank but that changed today. Google’s Matt Cutt’s has confirmed via a Twitter post. Many in the industry thought PageRank was just being phased out and for good reasons with 10 months since the last update.

PageRank is a ranking of sites based strictly on the number of links to your website and the quality of those links. It has nothing to do with the quality of your website or the content on the site, it only factors in links and their quality.
